The following quality standards are the proposed recommendations and are yet to be approved. They are not necessarily the operational QC policies followed at NOAA.
In-Situ Currents QC Standard for IOOS(PDF) Under Review In-Situ Salinity QC(PDF)  FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF)
Proposed - The initial cut at a proposed QC for a given variable - rough notes while the working subgroups refine sections which when combined will produce the draft
Draft - Produce Working Draft - this is the document that goes out for review from the full working group.
Under Review - Review and Evaluate Draft - when the draft has been submitted for approval by Ocean.US, the DMAC Steering Team, the Regional Associations, and the Coastal Observation Technology System (COTS) grant partners.
Adopted - have approval from groups listed in Under Review.
